know what he is saying? i don't. >> i take that you're concerned and cynical. i would be, too. there are a lot of insurance commissioners and the like telling us that it's not easy putting the genie back in the syringe so folks like you that experience this, it's up to the individual insurance companies whether they want to reverse it, stall, or move on. the best you have is maybe a six-month extension. >> i've got an for sure three-month extension from blue cross, and from the president's comments possibly up to a year. but it doesn't matter. either way i have to face a larger bill, either this year or next year. it's the law. and so that's what i'm being told i'm going to have to deal with. and all sorts of new coverage in it. i'm 60 years old and now i have pediatric care, no children. my wife has maternity care but we have no children planned. so, we're being -- going to pay a lot more for benefits we don't need. >> now, the argument was that whatever folks had before, according to the president, was substandard, the plans are substandard. what your plan substandard? >> my

don't cut the price. >> the reaaon the highest pay for the most part is because their the best. i have always said we have the best healthareelivery system in the world even though we have a crazy way to pay for health care. you are exactly right. people will become more and more kind of disgraced. what this is sounding like, what you just described, doctors are pulling out. some hospitals are pulling at of exchanges, that sounds like medicaid. medicaid you have a lot of providers. you get the insurance coverage, but no one will take it. gerri: absolutely right. you are a doctor. what is your reaction? do you go concierge? >> hard to do that. he looked at the race there being paid right now, somewhere in between medicare and medicaid rates. these will end up looking a lot like medicaid n works. you look at the same is, the plants that employ the most inside these changes in the medicaid plans because they already have the chief networks. gerri: to that point, speaking about her experiences with the system. here is what she had to say. >> i would like to be able to make my own choices.
of hours. turbulence and delays are going to go up. right now they don't have any delays in the airport. i think that's going to be the place that increases. all the new york city airports running just under an hour and philly has been the worse of it today. for most of the day running at about two hours. it's gone down a little bit. seeing that cloud level race just a little bit when the low clouds are there they can't get the planes off in as fast as a pattern as they generally have. they have to slow that down and that causes that pileup and delay of flights. the t. is cold. tonight those temperatures are going to be into the mid 20's. down in places like atlanta and birmingham. so very significant freeze going on. and down across even towards south florida tomorrow is only going to be into the 60's. so a very cool thanksgiving for florida. people who are head down from to try to get a little bit of a warm thanksgiving not really going to happen. still dealing with the rain across areas of the coastal areas from mid-atlantic up into boston. we will see few more bouts of heavy rain. you
think they have got a credibility problem here again. and this is inexpick cable. >> what i don't understand is what the white house says the purpose of that review that you are speaking to was to see how people would use the federal marketplaces. identify risk that could effect the strategy to mitigate those risk. the review was not web site. that was not jay carney hair splitting this march report. the march report says there is trouble. >> exactly. six months before you got that contendsy and company coming in and there briefing them. the president included. hhs and say you have got real problems with this. and what carney is saying well, they told us they had these problems but they didn't tell us they had those problems. who was responsible for this? this is an ongoing domestic bay of pigs. when the bay of pigs happened, allen dulles was gone. kennedy said you you know in the british system, allen, i would go. he we are in the american system and you go. do we have any names of the individuals who are briefed and all knew these things and then are still sitting right in the
proposition, mr. president, but we spent three years coming up with this other plan. we don't think this is going to work. here's the louisiana state insurance commissioner jim donelon. >> he acknowledged each state has to do what it tkpaoepls appropriate and what -- deems appropriate and what its law requires relative to implementation. we had a great dialogue, no doubt about that. but we also came away agreeing that there was a lot of difference of opinion as to whether or not we can or should do what he urged us to do last week. >> they had the meeting. they loved being in the white house, probably got a tour. in the end they have to watch out for their own backsides and their own private companies. they warned the president, what he's proposing now would amount to different rules and different policies, might result in higher premiums, not good for you and you, without underlying concerns for gaps in coverage. florida likes it. it allows people to renew their coverage. in indiana they say they will adopt the president's proposal. new york said tpho*efplt california is to announc
, if you don't acknowledge mistakes, anything that comes, to the public's attention that shows, that those mistakes are there, that you had to know about them, breeds cynicism, maybe you are covering something up. people start questioning everything that you say. i don't know if we're at that stage with barack obama or people are in a cynical mood about the height care law. but -- healthcare but we talk a great deal about getting to the scandals of irs. he looks and sounds angry when he is citing them, but there is no follow through. >> there is -- not only is there no follow through, people should look up a column by glen kessler in the washington post, he is an equal opportunity barber, he hands out pinnochios for misstatements, he gave president obama 4 pinnochios for his repeated statements about the fact that no american would lose their doctor or insurance plan under obamacare it is totally untrue, that is what he has to correct. that has really brought into question his credibility, he will have to take that on, and admit he misled people and apologize. neil: what would be the big d
